Sing Me To Sleep
It’s been a while,
Since my sleep went away,
With dreams, I too wanna play,
But this sadness is as long as Nile.
I wish times could flip,
Somebody could sing me to sleep.
The loneliness of this night,
Feels a lot depriving,
Thoughts of being alone, thriving,
And the misery won’t go out of sight.
I wish life could have been as a tulip,
Somebody could sing me to sleep.
Swimming through the sea in a storm,
Sometimes I float, sometimes I drown,
Feels like, now I’m just a clown,
All feelings come in a swarm.
I wish I don’t have to weep,
Somebody please sing me to sleep.
